"No way!" Kon said.

Tim flushed and glared at him. "It is not funny."

"No, dude, I totally get it. I mean, the fishnets, and the magic, she is one hot chick!"

"Hey guys, what's up?" Bart said, appearing next to them.

"Rob's got a huge crush on Zatanna."

"Oh!" Bart grinned. "I ekil reh."

"Don't talk backwards, Bart," Tim said.

"Tub s'ti nuf! "

Kon grabbed Bart with his TTK and gave him a noogie. "Quit it, Imp."

Bart struggled. "Hey!"

"But dude, we should totally get the two of you together," Kon said, not letting go of Bart.

Bart pushed at Kon's arm. "We totally should," he said. "Robin, make Kon let go of me!"

"No way. I don't trust either of you."

"What? Us? Untrustworthy?" Kon said.

"He's untrustworthy, but I'm totally trustworthy!" Bart said.

"Right," Tim said. His communicator went off. "Hold that thought." He touched his ear. "Hmm? Yes, I'll be there soon, Zee." He clicked the communicator off.

"Zee?" Bart said. "Isn't that short for Zatanna?"

"…yes."

"Robbie's got a daaaate," Kon teased in a sing-song voice.

"It's not a date, it's a lesson," Robin snapped.

"Robbie's gotta leeehhh-son," Bart sang.

"That's it," Tim snapped. "Monitor duty. Both of you. Now."

Bart and Kon groaned.

"Rob!" Kon said. "That's so not cool!"

"Go. Now."

Kon and Bart went, grumbling all the way.

Tim watched them leave and made sure they were in the Monitor Room before he climbed into the Redbird and left.



"We're following him, right?" Bart said.

"Duh," Kon said. "We've gotta make the True Love that is Zatanna and Robin happen."

"Sweet," Bart said. "What's the plan?"

"You are going to follow him and shove flowers into his hands right when Zatanna first sees him."

"Cool!" Bart said. "And you?"

"One of us has to be here in case Rob calls to check on us! I'm your alibi."

"What's singing me to sleep have to do with anything?"

"Get out of here, Allen."

Bart grinned and dashed away.

Kon had the perfect set-up. If they were caught, it'd be Bart who took the heat. If they weren't, maybe Robin would finally get laid.

He sat back and waited to see what happened.



Zatanna opened the door when Robin knocked.

"Hello," she said cheerfully. "You wanted to know about defenses against mag…" she trailed off. Robin was holding a bouquet of roses and looking just as surprised to see them as she was.

"What's this?" she asked icily.

"I have no idea," Robin said. "But I think it was probably my teammates fault."

"Rewolf revig raeppa!" Zatanna said, and Bart was suddenly standing in the middle of the room.

"Uhh," Bart said. "Hi Zee! I gotta go."

"Eslupmi ezeerf!" Zatanna shouted. Bart froze.

"I'm really, so sorry about this," Robin said.

Zatanna glared at him. "I'm sure you had a part in this. Nibor dna Eslupmi ot nerdlihc!"

There was a small pop and Bart and Robin were suddenly children.

Bart looked at Robin. Robin looked at Bart.

Bart grinned and pulled on Robin's cape. "This is cool!" he said.

"Capes're awesome," Robin agreed. "My name's Timothy Jackson Drake. Who're you?"

"I'm Bart! Watch this!" Bart ran around Tim at superspeed.

"Coooool," Tim said. "Let's get married!"



Bart should be back by now, Kon thought. There was one thing to do.

He called Bart's communicator.



"Somethin's ringing!" Bart said.

"Like marriage bells?" Tim asked.

"I'll take that," Zatanna said, picking up Bart's communicator. "Hello?"

"…you're not Bart," Kon said.

"No, is this Superboy?"

"If I say yes, am I going to get in trouble?"

"Not exactly. But I get the feeling you were behind your friends little trick, am I correct?"

"No, of course not!" Kon said quickly.

"Llet eht hturt."

"Yes, I was, and that is cheating."

"Don't worry, I'm not going to do anything. But Impulse and Robin need you to come pick them up."

"What, you're not gonna turn me into something?"

"Do you want me to?"

"No, ma'am!"

"Then just show up." Zatanna paused. "Hurry, though. I think Impulse and Robin are on the verge of eloping."

Kon hung up the communicator feeling relieved. Turns out Zatanna was pretty cool after all! He'd known there was nothing to worry about. He'd just go get Bart and Robin and –

Wait.

Eloping?
